Chouteau/Mazie Public Schools
1999 Facilities Development Program and High School
The Chouteau-Mazie Public Schools is already overcrowded and growing. In an effort to be prepared for this continued growth, they purchased 30 acres adjacent to the current Chouteau school site. They required assistance in Master planning and Programming in order to make informed decisions and obtain adequate funding to keep pace with their continued growth. They enlisted the expertise of MAPC to assess the existing school facilities and identify future needs based on historical data, the existing school facilities and projected population growth within the school system. The facilities assessment includes Programming and Master Planning of improvements through the year 2010. Projects totaling an estimated 8 million in construction costs have been preliminarily identified.
