Builder: KLEINCO The Client bought this older, two story home in a well established Tulsa neighborhood as their new home. They both enjoy cooking and wanted a "country kitchen" that included a casual sitting area. The problem was space to expand. MAPC was able to add five feet to the kitchen and a 14' x 16' sitting room to accomplish the design. The kitchen design included a 11’ long island / breakfast bar, subzero refrigerator, wine rack, warming drawers, double ovens, wine cooler and extensive lighting. The sitting room has a vaulted ceiling, large lighted built-in entertainment center with book shelves, tape storage, a fireplace and plenty of room for overstuffed furniture. A breakfast area adjacent to the kitchen provides a space for a small four seat table. Along with the kitchen and sitting rooms, a new utility room beyond and guest suite was added. The majority of the remaining home was remodeled, as well.
