Residence - Remodel and Expansion

This two story home is located in an older neighborhood and while well maintained, desperately need updating when the client moved in. The existing kitchen was cut-up and very small. Our solution was to expand the space into the rear yard allowing the addition of a large center island with extensive storage. The wall next to the rear yard was then allowed to be entirely windows giving this space a feeling of openness and light. Along with the kitchen, an existing garage converted to a family room was gutted and expanded to become a new vaulted ceiling family space directly adjacent to the kitchen. The new family room included a fireplace, arched windows to the front and arched patio doors to the veranda and pool. A new garage was added along with a guest bedroom, second floor study with a Palladian window, laundry and garage porch for receiving deliveries. A new master bedroom was added allowing the original master bedroom to become the master bath. The existing basement laundry space was converted into a wine room finishes in rustic wood and wrought iron railings.
The redesign and remodel of this older home was extensive touching almost every space. The Client created a truly a magnificent Tulsa home.
